Whatcom County native, Doug Wight, graduated from Western Washington University, and has owned Ebright Wight, Inc. for more than 20 years before partnering with Windermere Real Estate Whatcom.  His extensive experience as a local real estate agent and broker, property manager and investor, has given him the ability to understand the real estate and management business from all angles and offers a unique perspective in the business.  His honesty and business acumen have been highly respected in the industry by both his peers and clients.

Doug is a strong supporter and activist in the community and spends much of his spare time as a devoted board and committee member for organizations that promote community enrichment – founder of St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation, current president of Whatcom Hospice Foundation, active member of Bellingham Bay Rotary and past president of Bellingham Kiwanis.  He is known both for his generosity and hard work for many local non-profits.

Doug is a member and past president of the Multiple Listing Service and is dedicated to providing clients excellent service through his staff and company.  As Windermere Management has expanded, the company’s personal service has not diminished.  Accessibility and responsibility are company ideals maintained through their high standards.
